As someone who’s been playing airsoft for over 6 years, I’ve tried my fair share of night vision setups, most of which were either overpriced or barely usable. This thing? Absolute game-changer.
First off, the thermal mode is insane for spotting movement, especially in CQB or wooded areas with lots of cover. It doesn’t matter how good someone’s camo is because if they’re warm, you’ll see them. The multiple color modes are a nice touch too. I usually keep it on white hot or rainbow for quick contrast, but switching depending on the environment is super easy mid-game.
Digital night vision also holds up. It’s clearer than I expected, and the fact that I can switch between the two modes is nuts. I can literally scan the field like I’m in a video game.
If you’re serious about upping your game in outdoor night matches or even day matches, this isn’t just a fun toy, it’s a real piece of gear that gives you an edge. I’ve already had teammates ask me where to get one. Highly recommend.

I saw some negative reviews on this and I'm here to prove otherwise. I had a great experience buying this. Night Operator's support team is flawless and provided free part replacements when I myself broke a piece through wear and tear.
The 8 color modes make it so easy to change heat sensitivity based on environmental factors. The thermal is also very high FOV compared to others on the market, easily making it the most effective headworn goggle under $1000. Not to mention, the next cheapest goggle costs $1500-2000 so for $500 they are really providing a steal here. Also, it has both digital nv mode AND thermal at the same time which goggle on the market has.
Best part is, being able to mount it onto my helmet for night and day airsoft games. It is so dam overpowered. You can easily spot people wayyy before they see you and it changes the dynamic of the game. Essentially, hacking in real life. Whether you're using it for hunting or any outdoor exploration, this is it.

How much battery life does it have?
Our Night Operator FUSION has a built in battery which can last up to 1.5-2 hours of constant use. It also supports charging on the go, so you can plug in a portable charger wearing it making the battery life quite unlimited.

Can I turn off the IR light and only use moonlight/starlight?
Yes! However, the clarity of the imagery would be significantly reduced since our device relies on infrared lighting. However, it can still see in the dark without IR light better than the naked eye.

Is this infrared or analogue night vision?
Infrared. Analogue is impossible to achieve at this pricepoint, but we still offer the most affordable infrared/thermal goggles in the world right now.

What is the focal lens zoom?

I originally planned on buying one NVG thinking I should be good with the one but I should’ve known better than that. I guess I was just trying to keep the cost down. So I bought one. After having just the one I had to get another so I bought another one. If I would’ve bought two right away I would’ve saved a little bit of money. But after looking at all NVGs that’s out there I’m pretty sure that I ultimately did save money. I’m very pleased with my purchases.
Very happy with my purchase from Night operators. I got the heat 4.0 thermal monocular and I gotta say this is the best thermal imager you can get for sub $500 nowadays. They really stepped up their game. I got FLIRS which cost over $1000 and this thing competes. I also noticed that they relocated their button controls to the top of the device in their newest batch I assume because it would collide with bridged devices previously. Awesome improvement.
Was skeptical at first because I've seen a lot of poor reddit reviews and trust pilot scores online about night operators, but after waiting for a while I finally got them and they are quit impressive. I got their Fusion 3.0 and Max 2.0 before and let me just say the Heat and Viper 4.0 have been completely reinvented from the ground up. I expected them to be temu junk but this is genuinely really good for a couple hundred bucks. To my surprise the night vision image definition is higher than I thought, and the field of view is quite high with a large screen inside and lowest latency I've seen in a digital device at this price range. Thermal works really well and the 1 to 1 sterescopic image merging is amazing, you just have to train your eyes a bit if you're not used to it. Overall, banger release by night operators. Exceeded expectations and a huge improvement from previous generations.
I was very surprised how well these work. The night vision is decent, and the IR lights up my entire yard in pitch black conditions.
The Heat scope improves up everything, and I could see my dogs lit up like lightbulbs brightly.
There is a very slight blur when moving.
There is no washout if you move into a well lit position. Vision is just as good in day or night.
Overall, I’m extremely pleased with my purchase.
Bought the viper 4.0 and it works great, it really is 1:1 ratio 1x. Magnification. This is great for night air soft or night hunting maybe.... maybe, but still hard to beat at that price, i got mine for $199
I am so impressed with this thermal unit. I am using this for hunting purposes. I use them to move into tree stands early in the morning. These allow me to move with no light and it allows me to spot deer so I don't spook them moving to my stand. It also helps me identify them or other wild game while I'm in the stand waiting for twilight. This morning right after sunrise i had dense heavy fog and these allowed me to spot a 200 lbs hog moving in front of me. The headband didn't work for how heavy these are. I bought a cheap bump helmet with nvg mount and that works perfect.

This product is awesome for walking around at night inexpensive airsoft, night, vision and paired with an external infrared light source either weapon mounted or handheld. This thing for the price point is insanely good. I’m not sure how waterproof this thing is, but if they were to make a fully waterproof unit I would buy it.

Bonjour alors j'ai pu tester à plusieurs occasions la bino Heat and Viper.
Extérieurement l'ensemble est bien construit, solide. Le montage casque fourni est léger et résistant.
Toutefois j'ai une petite tête et je dois régler les deux appareils au plus proche et même comme ça impossible d'avoir une superposition des deux images corrects. Mais avec un peu d'habitude on s'accommode du décalage.
Le module thermique fonctionne vraiment très bien. Il fourni une belle image détaillée.
Le module jvn est clairement en dessous niveau efficacité même en condition de bonne luminosité le résultat reste décevant sans apport IR. J'ai eu d'autres jvn numérique qui était clairement meilleur c'est dommage. Avec un capteur de meilleur qualité le combo serait fabuleux pour le prix. De plus la jvn est peu sensible à l'ir 940. Elle voit bien l'ir 850 ( monté sur la jvn)
Le montage en bino de part la forme des appareils ne permet pas d'inverser la position de la thermique et de la jvn. C'est dommage. Les compartiments à batterie gênent enfin pour moi et ma petite tête.
En tout cas je ne peux que recommander le module thermique qui pour le prix est très sympa.
I ordered the full setup, i had a few issues with the hardware.They sent me one of the screws stripped out right away. I never received a helmet mount that I thought I would. I've emailed numerous times and was completely ignored numerous times.. other that the i love the night vision. Still no helmet mount i'm unhappy customer.
A good product overall. I did think I was going to receive both items based on the listing, as the advert I went through didn’t give a choice of setup, which felt a bit misleading.
That said, I haven’t used it in a game yet, but I have used it in training and it worked well. I’ll leave another review once I’ve had the Heat as well.
I was surprised at the product selection offered. It was suitable to my needs, and I was able to purchase a reasonably priced thermal and IR set up. The helmet cushions fit perfectly.
You could send me the rest of my order! I would like the other half of the optics combo I ordered. That would be nice! I also never received the rechargeable batteries and charger.
Was worried at first this company comes up in searches as fake or scam but it is Definitely not!!! Not gonna lie tracking from the uni shipping company is terrible. I had to email uni and threaten them cause said first delivery attempt failed when they never even tried to deliver. But 20 days latter my dual vipers with the bridge showed up. And WOW! Some much better than I’d ever hope for at the price. Only complains are shipping company and wish they would include a dovetail mount to screw right on the monocular and quick attach to the Wilcox mount. Very satisfied!!!
The night vision was cool but when adding the Heat it made it super cool. A little adjustment and it put them together. I was running them inside my house and I could see where the coldest coming in. For the price it is amazing. I have a extra night vision, because I didn't know what I was doing when I ordered. I'm just going to give it to my son. Draw back is the batteries have still not arrived, do to being shipped from China. I just went to a vape store and bought them and a charger.
Took about a month to get to me orderd december 8 viper and heat bridge with helmet cover , g23 style mount 'aluminum," and extra battery pouch for kevlar. And it arrives yesterday and i only received the viper nvg no thermals they "customer support "are pretty good at getting ba k with you and its a great product in my opinion for the money but i will say the quality check guy is slippin rn during the holidays but nonethe less i would buy agian

Really pleased with this nightvision! Especially for the price! Having true 0x magnification is a huge game changer and makes it so much for practical and effective
Having already bought a year ago the Fusion 3.0, i obviously had to buy the Heat & viper 4.0. I haven't been able to test them much for now, but they truly are amazing, first of all in the look, and utility, the Heat works really well , and has a better sensitivity to heat signature than the Fusion, though the resolution looks to be a bit less than the Fusion, it isn't something that is bothering plus it has a lots of new coloring, including the green filter who makes it feels like a phosphor nvg. As of the viper, it works perfectly well too, just like the Fusion. Either way, again Night Operator's couldn't have done better,
Plus again if i may, Night Operator's services are really amazing, always responding quickly and with the best help they can provide.
