      Was skeptical at first because I've seen a lot of poor reddit reviews about night operators... and let me just say the Heat and Viper 4.0 have been completely reinvented from the ground up... To my surprise the night vision image definition is higher than I thought, and the field of view is quite high with a large screen inside and lowest latency I've seen in a digital device at this price range. Thermal works really well and the 1 to 1 stereoscopic image merging is amazing, you just have to train your eyes a bit.

      Very happy with my purchase from Night operators. I got the heat 4.0 thermal monocular and I gotta say this is the best thermal imager you can get for sub $500 nowadays. They really stepped up their game. I got FLIRS which cost over $1000 and this thing competes. I also noticed that they relocated their button controls to the top of the device in their newest batch I assume because it would collide with bridged devices previously. Awesome improvement.

      Can I Bridge Old Night Operators Goggles?

      No, our previous goggles were 1x, but did not have true stereoscopic imaging which caused a mismatch in the size of objects with both eyes open. Only our HEAT & VIPER have the new true 1x lens and diopter with bridgeable rails.

      Can I Bridge HEAT Thermal With Actual Military Analogue Goggles?

      Yes! HEAT was designed to be bridged with VIPER and military analogue goggles such as the PVS-14. This feature was not previously possible with the FUSION 3.0

      Does VIPER digital NV Work With IR OFF?

      Yes! However, the clarity of the imagery would be significantly reduced since our device relies on infrared lighting. However, it can still see in the dark without IR light better than the naked eye.

      What is the lens magnification?

      1x. You will find a bunch of cheap night vision goggles from Amazon but they are all 3-4x+ which are unusable indoors or up close. We are the first to make affordable 1x night vision goggles.

      Does HEAT & VIPER Require Batteries?

      No, HEAT & VIPER operate with an internal battery which is rechargeable via USB-C. The battery compartment supports a single interchangeable battery which actively recharges the internal battery during use.

      The HEAT and VIPER both support one 18650 battery in their external battery compartments.
