Raises your sight 0.725 in. A lower 1/3 sight ends at 2.26 in, the same height as a 2.26 in magnifier mount.

Both sit at 2.26 in, so the dot and the magnifier line up.

Red dot for the riser

Put the T-2 on a 1.54 in mount, then on the riser: the dot sits at about 2.26 in (1.54 + 0.725).

Lifts your red dot or holographic sight higher over the rail for a heads up shooting posture, with a quick detach lever. A higher dot is quicker to pick up when you wear night vision, a mask or a plate carrier.
