The FOV is wayyyy better than any other goggle from amazon and actually has ZERO latency which is really surprising!

While it's not military-grade, it's perfect for honing my skills in low-light conditions. It's made of a metal body and a rubberized coating.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS
check_box
How much battery life does it have?
Our Night Operator PRO has a built in battery which can last up to 1.5-2 hours of constant use. It also supports charging on the go, so you can plug in a portable charger wearing it making the battery life quite unlimited.
check_box
Does it mount onto helmets?
Absolutely! We sell helmet mounts that you can purchase separately in order to mount it onto your NVG shroud whether for airsoft or other purposes.

Can I turn off the IR light and only use moonlight/starlight?
Our goggle has two modes, IR ON and IR OFF. With that said, you can turn off the IR mode but it automatically goes into day mode. So as long as you want to see in the dark, you need to keep the IR light on because this is an infrared night vision goggle, not analogue.
check_box
Is this infrared or analogue night vision?
Infrared. Analogue is impossible to achieve at this pricepoint, but we still offer the most affordable infrared goggles in the world right now.
check_box
What is the focal lens zoom?
1x. You will find a bunch of cheap night vision goggles from Amazon but they are all 3-4x+ which are unusable indoors or up close. We are the first to make affordable 1x night vision goggles.

Is there display delay?
Basically none. The video delay is less than 0.01s
Holly molly! How can you do that! How is it possible! Sorcery? No, just smart company bringing the ultimate NVG to civilian market, and for a very fair price compared to other company. I absolutely love my NVG! No zoom, almost zero delay, battery life extended if used with a battery bank!!!
You guys rock!!!
Thank you very much!

Super cool! It is a little big on my head but i think if i got headphones it would make the fit go harder. Awesome product quality btw!

Absolutly Perfect. It's everything your paying for and it looks kickass. The packaging was proffesional and great and the night vision is amazing. Would recomend to anybody doing Gel Blasting, Airsoft, or any hobbyists out there.

5 stars nvg MAX

I bought two units to use it as a binocular nvg set, and even without Ir on with clear moon is extremely usable and fun to walk around with.
As a less than 200$ unit is perfectly fine to use for Airsoft or just night walks, and with a bit of creativity and a 3d printer, you can reach a lot, from "dual tubes" to maybe even clip on units for the 3.0...

The mount is a little bit finicky but the goggle is amazing. Perfect for my 2000s style helmet

This is my second purchase, as always comes in great condition. Plenty of gear. This one i got for my wife and she loves it. Took them camping and even had some night hikes.

I love it, I had another night scope and it beats it by far. This image is clear with almost no delay in response. I have to do the fire test in a totally dark area with vegetation but I have faith in it and I know it will do very well. very grateful if I tell you, you may see me testing version 3.0 soon 🤭😏

Not bad for a digital mono. It took me some time to realize the diopter is on the FRONT but once I found it it made the visuals SO much clearer. I've done a couple of night time ruck hikes in the mountains in Northern az and it help up well. The mount is okay but I'd recommend using some lock tight on the screws. Some went missing along the way. But overall, for cheap nvg's. These work just fine! Works with my ir flashlight/lasers on my rifle as well. Good job #NIOPS!

I showed this goggle to my dad, who is an Army combat veteran. He is impressed by the clarity and says it is way better than the PVS-14 that the Army issued to soldiers.
Pablo G.5/5Verified
Im must say im very impressed.
The googles work really good.
Aswell as the IR…..works even better!
I had some problems with the last package, it took a while until i got it….the costomer support helped me perfectly through that!

Bought this item expecting mediocre and hardly good night vision. When it arrived it was QUALITY effort and worked amazingly. I do not regret this purchase at all for many reasons but you can decide your own.

The helmet mount and helmet are very insecure but the digital tube works good indoors the best

Amazing product, well worth it.
Many thanks to the creator!

This new Max is better than its predecessor, the IR function is always on and the IR illuminator can be kept on or off.

Overall, it's pretty decent. Don't buy this unit if you're going to be expecting analog night vision results. However, if you're okay with active illumination/digital NVGs then go ahead and buy it. For what it's worth, it gives a pretty practical capability to see in the dark. It's easy to use, set up, and get used to. Just do lots of research beforehand on how to use night vision properly and setting it up.
A couple things to keep in mind is that the unit itself is active illumination which relies on a camera instead of an image intensifier. This means you need to be 'actively illuminating' it with visible or IR light. It relies on light sources especially indoors or areas with very little ambient light.
For me, I like to set the contrast to 85 and brightness to 15. This allows my eyes to acclimate faster when I want to look under or over my unit for situations when my naked eye sees better. I would recommend doing this technique of using both your eyes or looking around your unit as sometimes you can see better without night vision. Another great tip would be to alternate between using and not using your IR light depending on indoor or outdoor situations.
If you're going to be using the stock mount and arm , I'd recommend using loctite or Teflon in order to make sure there is no wiggle in the joints. As well as using retention in the form of bungee or shock cord. Another thing that helps would be to balance your helmet by using a battery pack or counterweight system. I've found that a standard PVS 31 battery pack is more than enough to balance my helmet. (Keep in mind I also use opscore AMPs which give extra retention.) For my helmet I run a HHV ATE bump which is pretty light while still allowing me to mount things like ear pro, lights, strobes, batteries, and my NVGs. I wouldn't recommend using the skullcrusher or an unbalanced helmet as the weight will cause neck discomfort over time. If you are thinking about running a traditional PVS-31 battery pack like me, you're going to need a Lemo 4-Pin female to USB-C adapter as the unit does not take Lemo or BNVD connectors.
I recommend setting the unit over your dominant eye as it is probably easier for you to switch between your dominant and non dominant eye in situations where you are reading or doing things up close.

Cheap but well made and effective night vision device.

I bought these goggles for our regular night airsoft games, and they've become my prized possession. They're rugged, the invisible IR is top-notch, and the zero latency makes night matches feel incredibly realistic. Not to mention, the battery can last all night, especially with an additional pack. A quality tough and rugged metallic build all around.

Fantastic for tactical shooting courses. Zero delay in the visual feed is the highlight feature, making training exercises much more effective. The range of view puts other models to shame.
Jamie P.5/5
As a bit of an adventurer, I’ve used these goggles for hiking and even for night-time walks. They’ve performed beyond expectations. The IR light is so subtle, it's almost undetectable, and the battery life is just exceptional. They feel indestructible, which is perfect for someone like me who doesn't like to be gentle with gear. For me, I just wear it with the included headstrap.
Morgan K.5/5
For any serious airsoft enthusiast, these goggles are a solid investment. Their range, delay free display, and clarity surpass any digital model I've previously tried. The metal build can take a beating and come out unscathed. Deducting one star because they're a bit on the heavier side, but the build quality justifies it.
Harper T.4/5
I'm an instructor for tactical shooting training and these goggles have been a fantastic teaching aid for those who want to learn passive night shooting but can't afford PVS14's. The students appreciate the zero lag in the display, saying it's almost like an analog experience. The durability is a major plus; these goggles have endured some rough handling without a scratch.
Jordan S.5/5
Initially bought these for nerf wars with the kids and ended up using them for nighttime hiking as well. The battery life is just stellar. I strapped them to my tactical helmet and we played and hiked until well past midnight on a single charge. The metal construction feels robust and ready for anything.
Riley A.5/5
Took these night vision goggles for a spin during our last airsoft match and they were a game-changer. The IR light is incredibly discreet, giving me a tactical edge without giving my position away for those who don't have NVGs you are basically invisible. Plus, connecting to my helmet's battery pack, I was out there for hours without any power issues. It feels like you're not using digital tech at all – no delay, just clear and immediate visibility.
Brandon Q.5/5
I saw this on youtube and thought that it was all bs, but when I decided to order this i thought it was a waste of money. But boy was I wrong i completely under estimated this device. The IR light is pretty much invisible and would recommend the max to anyone looking for cheap NVGS. Thank you night operators!

I was very excited to be apart of Night Operator's initial test program where they sent out over 100 units prior to releasing their Max model. I have to say they greatly improved many features such as a more compact build, going from 850nm to 940nm which means a much dimmer IR light that is even more invisible. Battery life has also been greatly improved, On top of that, the new mount support allowed me to attach my J-Arm and mount it onto my helmet with my Rhino style NVG mount. But so far, my favorite part is the new adjustable IR torch feature which allows me to change the focus of the IR light so when I need to see something further away, I can concentrate the IR beam to light up a more specific area. 1000/1000!!

I purchased these for nighttime target practice in my backyard, and I've been pleasantly surprised by their performance. The field of view (FOV) is significantly superior to any other goggles I've tried from Amazon and there's absolutely no latency, which caught me off guard! I also got their PRO model a while back and I have to say MAN have they upgraded!!! This thing is much more compact, and the IR light emission is so little that with your eyes you actually cannot even see the bulb and the light is barely visible on camera vs the PRO model. 😅
Jasper C.5/5
At first, I had my doubts, but these goggles have truly surpassed what I had hoped for. They've turned into a crucial component of my training equipment for situations with dim lighting, especially since real analogue night vision is out of my budget. The option to mount them on my personal bump helmet is a game changer, offering far more comfort than the traditional headstrap during extended use. This feature significantly enhances my ability to concentrate on my immediate tasks. Additionally, the goggles pair seamlessly with my external IR rifle light, enabling passive shooting capabilities. The red dots are also highly effective and prove to be excellent for close-quarter battles (CQB).
